Nikie Greene Bone, LPC, is a dedicated mental health counselor with more than three decades of experience supporting individuals and families. After spending 30 years as a school counselor, Nikie expanded her work into the community, adding crisis counseling to her practice and deepening her impact on those navigating life’s challenges.

Nikie works primarily with children and teens, involving family members as needed to create a collaborative and supportive environment. She specializes in treating anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, crisis-related issues, and the emotional impact of divorce. Drawing from Person-Centered Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Trauma-Informed approaches, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Nikie tailors her work to meet each client’s unique needs.

Inspired by her own personal journey through difficult life experiences, Nikie discovered a passion for helping others heal and grow. She finds the most rewarding part of her work is witnessing clients expand their capacity to manage life’s challenges and seeing that growth ripple out into their relationships and communities.

Nikie is known for creating a safe, welcoming, and judgment-free space where clients feel seen, heard, and supported — often sharing that they appreciate her ability to make therapy both meaningful and enjoyable. She believes in the power of boundaries and often encourages clients to re-evaluate expectations when life isn’t working as it should.

Outside the therapy room, Nikie nurtures her own well-being through yoga, cooking, and gardening. She especially treasures time spent with her two sons, whether they’re sharing a meal, watching a movie, or enjoying a simple moment together. Guided by the belief that humans are remarkably resilient, Nikie is passionate about helping individuals tap into their strength and discover that, with the right support, no obstacle is insurmountable.
