Emily Porter is a licensed psychologist who supports children, adolescents, and families in navigating life’s challenges and building connections. Originally from eastern Idaho, she earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Utah State University, her master’s degree in counseling from Idaho State University, and her doctoral degree in counseling psychology from the University of Northern Colorado.
Dr. Porter specializes in anxiety disorders, OCD, ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, developmental and neurodevelopmental challenges, trauma, and interpersonal difficulties. She provides individual and family therapy, focusing on evidence-based practices and collaborative care rooted in the belief that healing and growth occur through strong relationships and genuine connection.
She views therapy as an opportunity for self-discovery and empowerment and enjoys helping others understand themselves better, find coping strategies, and build a foundation for long-term well-being and success.
