Virtual Care is a convenient, easy-to-use telehealth video system that helps you connect with a trusted Just 4 Kids provider from anywhere—via smartphone, tablet, or computer.

In order to provide access to as many people as possible, it’s only $100 for an appointment. We accept all major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover).

Many commercial insurance providers in Idaho currently cover telehealth. If you haven’t met your deductible or don’t have insurance, you may prefer our $100 cash-pay option. If it is determined that your child will need an in-person evaluation in our clinic, the telehealth charge will be applied to your clinic visit.

Absolutely. You’re welcome to visit our physical clinic locations or speak with our on-demand pediatricians and pediatric providers from home through a virtual visit.

Just 4 Kids virtual care should be used for non-emergent needs, such as common colds, skin irritations, cuts, allergies, and fevers, when your primary care provider is not available.

If you have an emergency, please call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room. Some visits always require an in-person evaluation, such as ear pain, laceration repair, broken bones, etc.

No. We will evaluate your child through visual child assessment and clinical history, which do not require any tools or equipment. If we feel your child needs to be seen in the clinic, your payment will be applied when you arrive for your clinic visit. If your child needs additional testing, they will be able to access our Lightning Lab and skip the waiting room and hassle of check-in.

Using the front-facing camera on your smartphone, tablet, or computer, you will be able to use our technology, which is essentially like Facetiming or Skyping your provider, in the comfort of your home or on the go.

Initially, you will be asked a few questions about your child’s condition to determine whether your child needs to be seen in person or if telehealth is an appropriate and safe visit. You will then speak with one of our Just 4 Kids Providers.

Yes. Prescriptions are sent electronically, the same way they are in the office. We are also able to provide school notes if needed. We have the ability to do all of our documentation and education through the same system, as if you were in the clinic with us. Unfortunately, we do not have a way to get you that sticker or popsicle…yet.

We have a great option for additional lab testing after a telehealth evaluation called Lightning Lab. This allows you to walk in the door, identify yourself, and without waiting have your additional labs completed, and you’ll receive a follow-up phone call with test results. Lightning Labs include strep throat swab, flu swab, and urinalysis.
